Our Story
PT. Mitra Wood Sejahtera
Founded in 2016, PT. Mitra Wood Sejahtera began as a small-scale charcoal producer with one burning stove, four workers, and a single warehouse. Leveraging the region’s abundant wood resources, the company quickly expanded its operations through a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and market demand.
Today, the company operates over 120 wood-burning stoves and has established itself as a trusted supplier of wood charcoal for both local and international markets.
To optimize raw material use and reduce waste, the company developed a second facility dedicated to producing charcoal briquettes from charcoal chips not suitable for export. After a year of R&D, PT. Mitra Wood Sejahtera successfully launched full-scale briquette production, offering various quality grades in large volumes.
Now a fully integrated charcoal manufacturer, the company continues to grow through innovation, sustainability, and a commitment to reliable supply.
